Hi, I’m Daphne a Registered Nurse with 17 years of experience, a Doctor of Education in Health Professions Education, and a passionate nursing simulation leader.

My career began in adult medical-surgical oncology before I transitioned into my dream role as a NICU nurse, where caring for fragile newborns and resilient preemies profoundly shaped both my professional purpose and personal faith. While working at the bedside, I earned my Master’s degree in Nursing Administration and Informatics, leading me into healthcare informatics and large-scale clinical training.

Teaching quickly became my calling. After years of precepting and serving as a lead trainer, I transitioned fully into nursing simulation education, where I’ve spent the last four years designing high-impact learning experiences. In under two years, I advanced from Nursing Simulation Coordinator to Assistant Dean of Clinical Lab and Simulation.

Today, my work centers on empowering nurses to transition into simulation education a career path that allows them to shape the future of healthcare without burnout, without patient risk, and without hospital politics, while fully using their clinical expertise and creativity.
